Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have probably heard about (or seen) TVF’s new web series,Tripling. A 5 part series, the show is about 3 siblings on a road trip and is packed with the dialogues that we’ve come to expect from them.
Apart from the humour, the series also aims to inspire people to #HitTheRoad! We’ve listed out some of the tips for you:
- Get set go!If you’ve been one of those who’s always had the urge to pick up the car keys and hit the road, Tripling shows you why you’re right (read Chitvan). If you’ve been one of those who’s always ended up squashing said urge, Tripling makes you regret it (read Chandan)! Basically, it shows you why you can never go wrong with impromptu road trips.
- It’s a love-hate thing
Siblings are the best road trip partners. No, this is not a joke. Yes, it did get stuck in our craw while saying it. But well, love ‘em or hate ‘em, there’s no one else you know who’ll have your back better than them. “Crisis ke time family hi kaam aati hai”, remember?
- Making the best out of a bad situationThings might not always go right on the road trip. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the things that do go wrong! Tripling shows us how uncertainty can be fun. All it takes is a bonfire!
- Meet and greetAgreed, meeting people from different cultures is what makes a road trip awesome on multiple levels. You will find people with interesting stories to share. Just be sure you aren’t being conned. There always a Marco Polo/Makarand Pole out there about whom you need to be careful about!
- Road trips: The ultimate solutionThis was us while watching Tripling:
We’ve waxed eloquent about how road trips are awesome multiple times, but now that Chitvan has said it, we’re hoping people will finally start believing us!
We had a gala time watching the series, with the open road inviting us to take a road trip really soon. What are you waiting for?
