After 2.5 months of traveling in Bali and surrounding islands, I am finally at my dream destination – Nusa Penida. Day 1 was super exciting as I drove 4 hours (back and forth) on the worst road I have ever ridden a bike on. In most places it was just like a hill with rocks you had to conquer with your rickety automatic scooter. The blazing sun added to the exhaustion but THIS view made it all worth it. KelingKing beach aka T-Rex (coz of the shape) is one of the most popular attractions of the island…I can see why 🙂 SO much to see and do in this pretty pretty place ? I am already smitten. …. …. #nusapenida #kelingkingbeach #kelingking #trex #nusaislands #beachy #ilovebeach #islandlifestyle #islandgirl #wonderfulindonesia #indonesiatrip #femaletravelbloggers #gltlove #passionpassport #dametraveler #ladieswhotravel

Me and my road trip buddy, @chiomze have a ritual to visit the snow clad Alps ?each year to bid farewell to the winter…❄️ . So, we booked our flights to the cheapest airport near Alps, picked up a car with no set itinerary in mind… . All I did was searched for places and hashtags in Switzerland on @instagram and looked at the latest stories and pictures to finalise our destinations to find snow covered peaks, and off we went?. . [▶️Check out my stories to see all about it!◀️] . And this gorgeous fairytale village of Kandersteg? was not on the list at all! We just found the cheapest accommodation for the night here, and it was enruote our next destination for tomorrow, so we just drove in…. And it turned out to be the highlight spot of our road trip today! ??? . And of course I couldn't resist doing a happy twirl!? . ❔What do you think about spontaneous roadtrips? Have you discovered totally unplanned places, and felt blessed? . . . . #switzerland #swissalps #ig_switzerland #visitswitzerland #iloveswitzerland #myswitzerland #switzerland_vacations #switzerlandwonderland #switzerlandpictures #swisslife #geneva_switzerland #inlovewithswitzerland #super_switzerland #switzerlandwonderland #sidewalkerdaily #womenwhoexplore #citizenfemme #timeoutsociety #wearetravelgirls #dametraveler #ladiesgoneglobal #tlpicks #mytinyatlas #sheisnotlost #thetravelwomen #globalletravels #femmetravel #girlgetters #agameoftones

On our 69th Republic Day, let's take a moment to think how much of a Republic we have really been in the last 69 years? Do all citizens of India have equal rights?⠀ ⠀ I don't think so. On paper, we might have but in reality, we discriminate people on the basis of their looks, geography, language, food, and culture. This discrimination is even more pronounced in the North Eastern States of India. North East is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to and the people there have a heart of gold. Yet, we neither try to explore it nor give those people the attention they deserve.⠀ ⠀ Let's leave our biases behind and start afresh to explore our truly #IncredibleIndia.⠀ ⠀ I would love to hear your thoughts on any Indian state you recently travelled and saw your myths being dispelled.⠀ ⠀ Join us in the #OneIndiaOnePhoto campaign initiated by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with Instagram to promote tourism within the country. Post your best videos and photographs of the tourist destinations you have visited in India and share your awesome experiences with us! Your information-rich, personalized posts will inspire more people to travel and experience the country like never before. The campaign would be held from January 23-26, 2018. Rush your entries now!⠀ ⠀ #nationaltourismday #travel #blogging #India #india_undiscovered #creativeimagemagazine #instagram #indiaphotoproject #_soi #indiapictures #reportagespotlight #ig_world #photographers_of_india #visualsoflife #ourplanetdaily #beautifuldestinations #artofvisuals #shotzdelight #moodygrams #passionpassport #photoftheday #abmlifeiscolorful #travelgram #igtravel #travelphotography #travelling #dametraveler

The only silver lining of this phenomenally disastrous first week of a new year is that I have a renewed appreciation of all the good times last year! ??‍♀️ . Throwback to the surprise package that turned out to be offbeat Thailand. That's me at a private island enjoying the wrath of monsoon in July 2017. Also helped that I was there on a major assignment for Thailand Tourism Board that not only paid well but also threw an interesting challenge at me to deliver a whole lot of images despite less than perfect weather conditions. . P.S – I’m fully aware that my recent rant was about this exact Instagram trend. But my vendetta is against overusing this trope rather than the occasional indulgence in it. So I hope you will pardon my slight transgression. ?
